I think many of us struggle with this issue, especially if we are talented. The way to manage this is to change the question:
Polymaths ask: What can I delegate with least risk to the business? This results in them ending up doing everything themselves, as delegation is seen as risky.
A better question is: As a leader, what should be main focus? Delegate everything else. This creates a leader’s time ROI mindset as compared to a risk mitigation mindset which was the case earlier.
